While the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is far from being fully understood, at Aegis General we remain focused on providing the easy and secure insurance protection that you and your clients have always appreciated. To help your clients as they deal with the impacts of COVID-19 on their own lives, we want you to know that we are temporarily extending a 60-day grace period for all policyholders who had their policy coverage lapse due to non-payment of premium to make the necessary premium payment and reinstate their coverage.
As always, payments can be made online through your producer portal. If the policy has lapsed, please call us at 844-207-4339 to have the policy reinstated to the correct date. Please also note that non-renewals or cancellations for reasons other than non-payment of premium are not eligible for reinstatement.
We will continue to send notices of cancellation for non-payment of premium per our normal procedures. Reinstatements are a manual process, so please call us at 844-207-4339 if you or your client have any questions.
We take the health and welfare of you, your clients and our employees seriously. For this reason, we have asked our Territory Sales Managers to refrain from visiting your offices. However, our entire team is still ready and available to assist you. Your local sales manager is always available via phone or email. Additionally, our inspectors are only conducting exterior inspections of homes and will maintain social distancing. No contact with the home’s occupants is necessary.
